One of my favorite burger places. The burgers are stellar and definitely what MVPs is known for, but all their hot dogs, sandwiches, and salads are great and unique options too.
Their service is very nice. After misplacing my order, they gave me a coupon and an extra order of onion rings for free. With late night hours on the weekends, MVPs is a staple of Long Beach. -

Okay another Postmates order....before I began my Postmate protest! So I have no words on the customer service or ambiance. I can say it's a small place with not much parking in a shared parking lot of a corner shopping area... didn't wanna say strip mall but something like that. I drive past this place regularly and have heard good things.
I ordered the Sami Sosa with fries and paid almost $15.... kinda pricey ($5 just for the half order of fries) but not gonna complain....much....lol. I hate places where I have to pay separately for fries...BS....you know imma want fries with this burger. Okay I'm done.
Anyway! I love the originality of the menu and different food combinations. The Sammie Sosa is a Grilled Chicken Burger with bacon Swiss and Ortega Chili. It was good! Tender juicy chicken breast. Melty Cheese and plenty of flavor! My fries were soggy and over cooked. Made me sad. I suggest cut holes in the box so steam can be released guys! Takeout 101. Not gonna mention over cooked under heat lamp fries r not good...oh I already. Oh well!
All that to say I wouldn't mind GOING to MVPs. The burger was good and the fries have potential. -

One thing I normally don't do - sandwiches for dinner. I made an exception for MVP while visiting Long Beach. I ordered the Ditka Sandwich which had plenty of roasted turkey meat and Swiss cheese. Others in our party ordered the Shaq Burger, George Foreman 3, and Mean Joe Green. Everyone was happy with their selections. Ingredients seemed fresh. The big hit was the fries - super crispy and perfectly seasoned.
I will be back next time....for lunch. -

Let me say that this was my favorite grab a burger place. Been eating at their old place before they moved to this location. Loved their burgers.
They are far from being the same.
Meat is tasteless. They give you a burger that is saggy, tastes ok bc of all the mayo sauce and cheese they put in. Yet price is definitely up there with any nice restaurant nearby (2nd st.). 10-15 dollars if you get a drink and fries. Definitely not worth it anymore. In n out beats them easily. -

I been going to MVP's for over 10 years (when they used to be on the little shack down the street). I don't recall a time I didn't like what I ate. The burgers are juicy, the salads so tasty, their burritos...THE FRIES!!!! I couldn't pick a favorite. Friendly service, good atmosphere, good prices, clean. I taken one of my foodie friends here and she won't shut up about it. It's that good!!!
